01About these terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of the Rita Organics website and our online store, and to every order you place with us. "Rita Organics", "we", "us" and "our" refer to the Rita Organics brand, based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. "You" means the person using the website or placing an order.

By browsing the website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, our Return & Refund Policy and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or place an order.

02Who can order

To place an order you must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under Indian law. If you are under 18, you may use the website only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian, who places the order on your behalf.

We currently sell and deliver only within India.

03Our products

We make our products from natural plant extracts and do not add synthetic chemicals. Because the ingredients come from plants, colour, texture and scent can vary slightly from batch to batch. This is natural and is not a defect.

Product photos are for illustration. Packaging and labels may be updated from time to time, and the product you receive may look slightly different from the photo.

Use our products safely

• Our products are cosmetics. They are not medicines and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition.
• Natural ingredients can still cause allergies or irritation. Always read the ingredient list on the label and do a patch test on a small area of skin 24 hours before first use.
• Stop using a product if you notice redness, itching, burning or any other reaction, and consult a doctor if it does not settle.
• If you have a skin condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are under medical treatment, please check with your doctor before use.
• Results vary from person to person. We do not promise any specific result.
• Follow the directions and storage instructions on the pack, and use the product before the expiry date printed on it.

04Prices and payment

All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹). Any applicable taxes and delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay. The price that applies to your order is the price shown at the time you place it.

We may change prices, offers and discounts at any time. A change will not affect orders we have already confirmed.

If a product is listed at an obviously wrong price because of a technical or typing error, we may cancel the order. If you have already paid, we will refund the full amount you paid.

You can pay using the payment options shown at checkout. Online payments are handled by third-party payment providers, and your payment is subject to their terms.

05Orders

When you place an order you are offering to buy the products in your cart. After you place it, we will send you an order confirmation with your order number.

We may decline or cancel an order, in whole or in part, if:

• the product is out of stock;
• there is a pricing or listing error;
• we cannot deliver to the address you provided; or
• we reasonably suspect the order is fraudulent or breaks these Terms.

If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we will refund the full amount you paid for the cancelled items.

06Shipping and delivery

We deliver to addresses within India using third-party courier partners. Our current delivery charges are:

The charge for your order is always shown at checkout before you pay. Delivery times shown on the website or given by us are estimates, and delays can happen because of the courier, weather, holidays or other events outside our control.

Please give a complete and correct delivery address and phone number. If a delivery fails because the address is wrong or nobody is available to receive it, we will contact you to arrange redelivery. Additional delivery charges may apply.

Please check your parcel when it arrives. If it is damaged, leaking or has something missing, tell us as explained in our Return & Refund Policy.

07Cancellations, returns and refunds

Cancellations, returns, replacements and refunds are covered by our Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

08Using the website

When you use the website or our online store, you agree to give accurate information and to keep any login details for your account safe. You agree not to:

• use the website for anything unlawful or fraudulent;
• try to interfere with, damage or gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems;
• copy or collect content or data from the website using automated tools; or
• post reviews or content that is false, misleading, offensive or infringes someone else's rights.

09Our brand and content

The Rita Organics name and logo, and the text, photos, graphics and design of this website, belong to Rita Organics or are used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce or use them for commercial purposes without our written permission.

10Reviews and messages

If you send us a review, photo, testimonial or feedback, you allow us to display it on our website and in our marketing, with your first name or initials. We may remove content that breaks these Terms. We do not edit reviews to change their meaning.

11Third-party services

Our online store, payments, deliveries and messaging rely on third-party providers, including our e-commerce platform, payment providers, courier partners and WhatsApp. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms. Links to other websites are provided for convenience, and we are not responsible for their content.

12Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for providing the products you order as described and in line with these Terms. To the extent allowed by law:

• we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for indirect losses such as loss of income or opportunity;
• we are not responsible for reactions or results caused by using a product against the directions and safety guidance on the pack and on this page; and
• our total responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law that cannot be excluded by agreement.

13Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to your rights as a consumer to approach a consumer commission, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or your orders.

14Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. The Terms in force when you place an order apply to that order.

15Grievances and contact
